Ford Racing Parts is now offering a V8 supercharger kit as a pre-installed, pre-delivery option on every 2026 F-150 and Mustang built with the 5.0-liter V8 — including the F-150 Lobo. Developed with Whipple Superchargers, the kit takes the F-150 to 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.
The Mustang GT and Dark Horse see the bigger jump: 810 horsepower and 615 lb-ft with the active-valve exhaust option, or 800 horsepower on the standard exhaust. Rather than requiring an aftermarket install after the sale, buyers can now simply order it as a factory-supported option — a meaningfully different proposition for warranty coverage and financing than a dealer-installed or third-party supercharger has historically been.
Ford isn't alone in chasing this same combination. Roush's own S650 Mustang supercharger kit is now 50-state legal for the GT and Dark Horse, delivering an identical 810 horsepower and 630 lb-ft for $10,399 — meaning buyers now have two credible factory-adjacent paths to essentially the same power figure on the same platform.
